Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson, an American musician, producer and singer also writes. Her most famous role is playing Tara Maclay from the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson has also directed her films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and starred as the main actress in these films. She also starred Kiss the Bride. Benson is the son, born on the 8th of January 1977, of Edward and Diane Benson. Her younger sister is Danielle and works as an artist. The father of her is Jewish and her mother was raised Southern Baptist Benson grew up at the Reform synagogue located in Alabama. Benson started appearing in different films like The Killing Jar. Benson also appeared on TV series such as Morganville The Series. While behind the lens, Benson used her writing talent to create the Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010, she also directed Drones.
